Dr. George “Trey” R. Lee, III, MD, MS, MBA holds an appointed position as Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology with the Department of Neurology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is the founder and president of Real Time Neuromonitoring Associates, Real Time Tele-Epilepsy Consultants, and Allied Managed Processes. He founded and served as the medical director of Vanderbilt Allied Health’s accredited program in Neurodiagnostic Technologist Training.
Dr. Lee has been an American Medical Association member for 30 years and served as a delegate to the medical student section (MSS), resident and fellow section (RFS), and the young physician section (YPS). He has served on various AMA committees over the years, was elected to the AMA-RFS governing council, and received an AMA Foundation Leadership Award. Currently, he is a member of the Tennessee Delegation, the Tennessee Medical Association (TMA) board, the speaker of the house for the TMA, and a board member of the Nashville Academy of Medicine and previous president and chair of the board. He has also served three terms on the Tennessee Medical Association Political Action Committee board of directors and has donated as a Capitol Hill Club member since its inception twenty years ago.
Dr. Lee has served on the board of directors of the American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring and as its president and chair of the board. He has also served on the board of the Tennessee Medical Education Fund, the Tennessee Physician Leadership College Steering Committee, the national Committee on Accreditation for Education in Neurodiagnostic Technology (CoA-NDT), and the board of the Nashville Symphony Association. In 2017, he received an outstanding entrepreneur award from Emory University.
