AMPAC Leadership Cup
Participation Competition

The 2026 Leadership Cup has concluded. Thank you to all state and alternate delegates for your leadership, participation, and continued support of AMPAC! We are pleased to announce this year’s Leadership Cup winners for 100% state and alternate delegate participation and 100% AMA council participation:

Big 5: Florida
Large: New Jersey
Medium: Tennessee
Small: Delaware
Council: Council on Legislation

Each winning state delegation and AMA Council will be recognized at the 2026 Interim Meeting and presented with a traveling Leadership Cup trophy engraved with the winner in honor of their outstanding achievement.
 

The AMPAC Leadership Cup Competition brings energy and recognition to the AMA’s House of Delegates and AMA Councils, challenging groups to achieve 100% participation and demonstrate leadership in advocacy. States compete within delegation size-based categories, while AMA Councils go head-to-head in their own division—all striving for 100% participation in AMPAC. Top performers are recognized with annual trophies and visibility throughout AMA meetings. This new initiative strengthens AMPAC’s efforts by amplifying engagement and recognizing leaders who making a meaningful difference in advancing the AMA’s priorities.

Please note: Leadership Cup competition groupings include not only state delegates based on official AMA membership as of December 31 each year, but also alternate delegates, as well as student and resident delegates and alternates. This aligns with how delegation participation is measured during AMA meetings, when states work toward achieving 100% AMPAC participation.

Delegate lists are provided to the AMA HOD Office by the State Medical Associations. If anyone believes their delegation information is incorrect, they should contact the credentialing office directly to make any changes.
