65 Years of AMPAC! 

At the AMA’s 2026 Annual Meeting in Chicago, AMPAC members threw it back to the 1960s with an evening of live music, drinks, and dancing to celebrate AMPAC’s 65th anniversary. Welcomed by Sonny & Cher through a custom “AMPAC Rocks!” entrance, guests were transported back to the decade of AMPAC’s founding in 1961. Maggie Speaks performed hit after 60s hit and the Beatles joined guests at a photo booth and throughout the evening. Even Elvis (AMPAC Chair John W. Poole, MD) made a surprise appearance, greeting AMPAC members and tearing up the dance floor. AMPAC members let loose and danced the night away!
