Dr. Tildon-Burton joins the AMPAC Board of Directors in the fall of 2020. She is the current Delegate to the AMA from Delaware. She is a Board-Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist in private solo practice in Newark, Delaware.
Dr. Tildon-Burton received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology at Einstein Hospital, Northern Division in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She entered medical school after teaching middle school Life Science in the Newark, Delaware public school system.
Dr. Tildon-Burton has been involved in organized medicine for over 30 years beginning with the Pennsylvania Medical Society and now with the Medical Society of Delaware. She has served in all leadership positions of the New Castle County Medical Society and served in multiple roles at the Medical Society of Delaware including two term Presidency. She was the 1st Speaker of the House of MSD following re-organization. She has been a part of the Delaware Delegation since 2005 becoming its sole delegate in 2019.
Dr. Tildon-Burton has been very involved with the American College of Obstetrics/Gynecologists on a local and national level through the OB/GYN PAC and a term on the Legislative Committee. Locally she has served in all offices of the ACOG Delaware Section including Chair.
Dr. Tildon-Burton resides in Wilmington, Delaware.
