Ryan Ribeira, MD, MPH

Ryan Ribeira, MD, MPH is an accomplished physician and innovator in medical simulation. 

Currently, Dr. Ribeira serves as an Assistant Professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine, and as Medical Director of the Adult ED. He is also the CEO and Founder of SimX, a company that develops professional-grade virtual and augmented reality medical simulation software that is used to train physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.  

A longtime contributor to organized medicine, Dr. Ribeira has been deeply involved with the American Medical Association (AMA). He has served in the AMA House of Delegates for over a decade, and has served on the board of trustees of the California Medical Association, the American Medical Association, and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. He has also served on the board of directors for CALPAC, and now on the AMPAC Board of directors. 

Dr. Ribeira received his MD from the UC Davis School of Medicine and his MPH from Harvard School of Public Health with a dual concentration in health care policy and management and public health leadership. Dr. Ribeira received his BA in business management from Brigham Young University. He currently resides in Los Gatos, CA with his wife and children.
